Turning Global Dialogue into Investment Opportunities for a Sustainable Food Future
On 15 October 2026, Future Food Hub and TASTEBUD LAB co-hosted “Food Security: From Dialogue to Investment” in collaboration with the Global Flagship Initiative for Food Security, as an affiliated programme of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok.
The executive roundtable brought together representatives from international development institutions, government agencies, investors, industry leaders, and food-tech innovators to explore strategic partnerships and investment opportunities aimed at strengthening global food security.
Featuring a keynote by Dr. Conrad Rein, the discussion focused on mobilizing public and private capital, exploring the potential establishment of a Thailand-based Food Security Fund, and connecting Thai food and agricultural innovations with international markets.
The event highlighted the importance of transforming research and innovation into scalable, investment-ready solutions through collaboration, pilot projects, and evidence-based development.
